Cues for Success-Facing the Barre “new” combo
Start facing the barre in second position both arms straight reaching forwards onto the barre. Please make a conscious effort to keep the arms as straight as possible to encourage the shoulders over the hips.
1 x 4 Pulse lunge to right with the heel lifted in a releve
1 x 4 Alternating lunges left and right then repeat x 4
*optional 1 x 8 lunge without releve to right.
1 x 8 Plies in second position (heels down or releve) add a balance for variety with hands in prayer position.
Repeat whole sequence on the left side
For further challenge add
1 x 8 Curtsey plies right and left.
